Thursday, February 12th, Elm Grove plans to 'Take Down the Tigers' at our home basketball game. Games start at 5pm and admission costs $5. However-- the FIRST 50 STUDENTS to come to the game get a free drink and bag of chips-- courtesy of Student Council. There will also be a student section at this game-- filled with fun props, such as megaphones, thunder sticks, and more. Come out this Thursday to support your Eagles basketball team!

Attention EGMS 8th Graders!! In March, 8th graders have the opportunity to visit the Dallas Holocaust Museum and The Sixth Floor Museum. Bossier Schools will remain CLOSED for students and teachers Friday, January 30 out of an abundance of caution due to continued safety concerns on our campuses as a result of the wintry weather.
We cannot risk your children’s return to school until the thick ice accumulation melts or can be removed from awnings, walkways, bus ramps and parking lots.
Our district leaders and 12-month employees will be working Friday to get our schools and centers ready for reopening Monday, February 2, and to de-ice and prepare for another round of frigid temperatures being forecast for the weekend. This is a work day at our schools and centers, and they will not be open for normal operations.
We know this week has been unusual and Bossier Schools greatly appreciates your understanding, support and working with us to make the best of the situation.
