🦅 Welcome Home, Mrs. Christal Carper! 🦅

Please join us in welcoming Christal Carper as the new Assistant Principal of Elm Grove Middle School!

A proud graduate of Parkway High School and former Elm Grove student, Mrs. Carper returns home with more than a decade of educational leadership and classroom experience. Most recently, she served at Red River High School, where she built a reputation for supporting students, staff, and families while fostering a positive school culture.

Her passion for student success, commitment to meaningful relationships, and dedication to building strong school communities make her an exciting addition to the Eagle family.

Mrs. Carper joins Principal Rick Bryant, Assistant Principal Sharon Pollock, and Instructional Coach Angela Glasscock on the Elm Grove administrative team. Together, they look forward to serving our students, staff, and families and continuing the tradition of excellence at Elm Grove.

We are thrilled to welcome Mrs. Carper back to where her journey began and can't wait to see the impact she will have on our school community!

The 2026-2027 School Supply Lists are now available and have been posted in the photos attached to this post. Be sure to find your student's grade level and start checking off those back-to-school shopping lists. ✔️🛒 As you prepare for the new school year, don't forget that annual registration will open in early July. Completing registration early will help ensure a smooth start to the school year. We are excited to welcome back our returning Eagles and meet our newest members of the Eagle family. Join us for Flight Camp, a fun-filled orientation designed to help our incoming students feel confident and excited about middle school! 📅 August 3 ⏰ 9:30 AM – 11:30 AM 🚗 Drop-off begins at 9:15 AM 📍 Drop-off and pickup will be in the Boys' Gym ⏰ Please be on time for both drop-off and pickup. During Flight Camp, students will: ✈️ Walk their class schedule 🦅 Tour the school 🤝 Participate in team-building activities 😊 Meet new friends and future classmates 💡 Learn what it means to be an Elm Grove Eagle This event is primarily for our incoming 6th graders, but any new 7th or 8th grade transfer students are welcome to attend as well! 📋 If you plan to attend, please complete the registration form so we can prepare for all of our future Eagles. If you will be picking up meals today as part of the curbside summer feeding program, please be aware the delivery trucks are running late and pickups will be delayed until approximately 8 a.m. This affects all sites, with the exception of Parkway, which will open at the normal time. We would like to give a HUGE THANKS to all of our parents, grandparents and community for the donations we received for Teacher Appreciation Week! We were treated to special snacks, breakfasts and lunches all week long! We truly appreciate the support.
